About Keynote Speaker: John Perry Barlow

John Perry Barlow, once called the "Thomas Jefferson of Cyberspace," is a retired Wyoming cattle Rancher, a former lyricist for the Grateful Dead (1971-1995), and co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Since May of 1998, he has been a Fellow at Harvard Law School's Berkman Center for Internet and Society. john barlow

Kudos to the Grateful Dead!

Last year marked the 10th Anniversary for the Grateful Dead Area and its Dead Caucus. The Association was pleased to provide area founders Robert  G. Weiner, Gary Burnett, and Nicholas Meriwether with an award recognizing their accomplishment.
