webpage is the virtual headquarters for
the Anthropology of Italy Network, organized under the Society for the
Anthropology of Europe. The network is an informal grouping of anthropologists
and allied scholars, such as folklorists and social historians, who do
research in Italy. In addition to this webpage, which is only in very early
phases of development, there is a listserv discussion list. Interested
scholars may subscribe to this list by sending the following message to
listserv@uwgb.edu:

The purpose of the discussion list is to develop the network, keep people in contact and up-to-date about research that is going on, disseminate announcements and provide a place for queries and answers. Contributions may be made to italanthro-l in either English or Italian.
