Scope: These fellowships are intended to help make it possible for scholars from France, Great Britain, and the United States to further their research on topics relating to Berlin and Germany while being affiliated with a Berlin university.

Eligibility: The program is open to American, British, and French, scholars who are affiliated with a university in Berlin.

Provisions: Stipends range from DM 2,000 to DM 2,500 per month, depending on the fellow's qualifications. The tenure of the fellowship may be from six to twelve months.

Applications: Please contact the Foundation regarding specific application information. A letter of recommendation from a faculty member from one of the Berlin universities will be solicited. Applications can be submitted throughout the year.
