Information for Contributors

Manuscript articles are accepted on the condition that they are original contributions. Short contributions are also welcomed: review articles, conference reports, project proposals, ect. The languages of EUROPÆA are French and English.

Text, citations and references

When an author's name is mentioned in the text, dates and pages immediately follows the author's name, e.g., Malinoswky [1922: 52]. Otherwise a citation to authors and their works appears within parentheses, usually at the end of a sentence, e.g., [Malinowsky 1922: 52]. Complete references to all works cited in an article or review sholud appear in a bibliography at the end of the manuscript, and should be listed as follows:


Malinowsky, Bronislaw

1921  "The Primitive Economics of the Trobriand Islanders", Economics Journal, No 31,

      pp. 1-16.

1922 Argonauts of the Western Pacific, London, Routledge and Kegan Paul.

1939 "Anthropology as the Basis of Social Science", in Cattel, Cohen and Travers (eds.),

     Human Affairs, London, MacMillan.


For exemplification of all matters of style, authors should consult the issues of EUROPÆA.

Manuscripts should bu submitted in one copy and on disc. Most common word processing programmes are acceptable. Illustrations should be delivered in the original or on disc. Manuscripts and discs for publication should be sent to:
