DIGEST / INDEX FOR AN
H-NET DISCUSSION LIST AT LISTSERV@H-NET.MSU.EDU
I. SET MAIL TO DIGEST AT Listserv@msu.edu
If you prefer receiving one (long) e-mail message containing all posts sent out each day, send the following single line message from your subscribed account to LISTSERV@msu.edu :A daily digest file will then be automatically compiled at the end of each day and sent to your address.
set [list name] digest
Example:
set h-rural digest
II. SETTING MAIL TO INDEX
If you prefer receiving one message containing only the subject lines of each day's posts, send the following single line message from your subscribed account to LISTSERV@msu.edu
A daily index file will then be automatically compiled at the end of each day and sent to your address.
Command Line:
set [list name] index
Example:
set h-rural index
III. RESUMING REGULAR H-RURAL MAIL
To resume receiving regular H-RURAL posts send the following single line message from your subscribed account to LISTSERV@msu.edu:
Command Line:
set [list name] mail
Example:
set h-rural mail
