Happy Hour & A Half
All members of the ACA/PCA are invited to join us for a convivial Happy Hour
and a Half at the pleasing Dock Street Brew Pub in the historical Headhouse
at the Reading Terminal in Center City Philadelphia. The Dock Street Brew Pub
is located in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Market Streets, in
the heart of the citys shopping, hotel and cultural district. Dock Street
Brew Pub is across the street from the Marriott and should be entered by going
through the over-street passageway from the third floor of the Marriott Hotel.
A sign will direct you to go through the open court and then into the Brew Pub.
An open bar, including beer, wine, mixed drinks, and sodas with pretzel snacks,
will delight you and satisfy all your requirements. Entertainment will be the
Penn Glee Club, an all-male chorus of 30 members, famous throughout the East
Coast.
Tickets for this festive occasion are $25.00, $10.00 of which will go the Endowment.
Buy ahead and avoid a line, but tickets will be available at the Reading Terminal
entrance. Send check to Popular Culture Conference, Attn: Lisa Tatham, Bowling
Green State University, Bowling Green, OH 43403.
See you at the Dock Street Brew Pub for an afternoon of good drinks and great
