The Remote-Access control panels serves a double function. 1. It works as the usual PPP frontend 2. It contains the ARA functionality - both for the server and for the client. The only difference between the two is the servers ability to answer calls, but you guessed that ;-) Lets take a look at the client first: |

Now, what differentiates the server from the client? The server has an additional entry in the "Remote Access" menu (the equivalent to the PPP menu): Answering... Select this entry and you'll see this: |

As usual, this panel doesn't really need very much explanation. IMHO, the most striking feature of ARA 3.0 is its simplicity and "elegance". Need a proof? Take a look at the Users & Groups control panel: |

ARA simply adds an entry to the usual privilige pop-up menu. You can even set ARA to call back. |
