John Pearce

I have been at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA, since 1984. I am director of the college's Center for Historic Preservation, which supports student work and carries on outreach programs. I also direct the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library and the Enchanted Castle Site at Germanna, which the Center oversees. Prior to Mary Washington, I had 25 years of work in museums, preservation agencies, and at the George Washington University.
