Does anyone know of any American scholar who has published or worked on the legal aspects of the Holocaust. We are planning a conference on the Holocaust here next year and would like to include the subject on the program.

You might want to consider Monroe Freedman, the Howard Lichtenstein Distinquished Professor of Legal Ethics at Hofstra University School of Law - He served on the special
commission on the Holocaust at one time and is a thoughtful, enthusiastic speaker. He can be reached at 516 463-5882 Hope this helps. Janis McDonald, Associate Professor of Law, Syracuse University College of Law JLMCDONA@law.syr.edu

Regarding Milton Klein's request concerning scholars interested in the legal history of the holocaust:

In addition to Monroe Freedman here at Hofstra, you might try contacting Pnina Lahav at Boston University (617)353-3110 or Stanislaw Pomorski at Rutgers-Camden (609) 225-6375; both of them have been interested in the response of the international law community to the holocaust and war crimes.
