Working
Papers
A note regarding “Working Papers”: This project is part of a
recent effort to
utilize H-LatAm’s web and online resources to promote an environment
where new research is generated, discussed and enhanced. Articles
placed
on this category of “Working Papers” are here just provisionally to
produce discussion. Most likely these papers will be provocative,
yet
incomplete in nature. Two outcomes we expect from this
undertaking.
First, that enough quality interchange will come from its
reading.
Second, that the originality of the ideas here expressed should be kept
within
the authorship of the papers. In other words, that exposing new
ideas in
this venue will not produce a flight or misappropriation of
ideas. So, a
high ethic of scholarship interchange is called upon everybody who read
these
papers. The dialogue is to be followed in H-LatAm’s forum (the
moderated “List”) and in no other setting, unless there is explicit
permission from the author/s. Like any other thread of
discussion, the
ownership of the discussions on these papers belongs to the collective
rights
of H-LatAm. People wanting to post their “Working Papers” on
H-LatAm to generate discussion are welcome to submit their queries to
the
editors.
