at the busy and noisy corner of Sucre and La Marina. Public transport
comes from all parts of the city.
2) Lodgings: No hotels seem to be located nearby,
but it is unlikely a reader would want to stay in this area of Lima,
although the Catolica and San Marcos are not far away. There is easy
access to the accommodation of the center and the neighborhoods of San
Isidro and Miraflores.
3) Restaurants: Various eating establishments are
located in the area.
4) Other: The archivo used to be located in the
back of the Cathedral. The present location is somewhat more remote, but
quite accessible. It is an efficient and professionally run archive.
