I looked up the Samson incident at Ramoth-lechi (Judges, 15,15) and it just says that Samson killed a thousand men. However, in I Samuel 18,25 it says that Saul asked David for one hundred foreskins of his Philistine enemies. The only comment I saw on it, the Mezudath David, says that Saul really meant foreskins, as he wanted to shame the Philistines. In 18,27 David kills two hundred Philistines, and brings their foreskins to Saul.
