In April and May 1999 HABSBURG members engaged in a spirited discussion of Kosovo, Serbian nationalism and the possibilities and problems of territorial partition in the Balkans (during the NATO air campaign). From this page you can read the two reviews which sparked that discussion and can follow the ensuing discussion through the list of links provided.
There are two different ways to follow the discussion. One can follow the unfolding debate by beginning with the first posting by Hugo Lane and then scroll down the list from one posting to the next. The second way to navigate the discussion is to select a posting from the list provided below by date of posting, and then follow the links embedded in the text to either the posting to which the author is responding or to those generated by his or her comments.
A final resource included here for those interested in scholarly discussions of Kosovo are four other H-NET reviews of works related to Kosovo and its history. Three of the authors of these reviews were also contributors to the discussion of Kosovo on HABSBURG.
