Thank you for posting Dr Lonnie Johnson's excellent essay on Austria's new coalition government and Joerg Haider. This is a most constructive contribution to the evaluation of recent political developments in Austria and the European Union.

For those of us who do not know him, could you provide a brief biographic sketch on Dr Johnson? Also, perhaps you would be good enough to also provide guidance on the acceptable way to cite this essay (and other works that appear on HABSBURG)?

The essay may be cited as "Austria's New OeVP-FPOe Government and Joerg Haider," by Lonnie Johnson. Published on HABSBURG (H-Net), February 2000.
