UPCOMING EVENTS
LAWA-Ghana has or will be participating in the following up-coming events:
Training
of medical personnel in Ghana on the handling of victims of domestic
violence. This training will be conducted in all the 10 regions of Ghana
and will include doctors, nurses, pharmacists, midwives and traditional
birth attendants. It is being sponsored by UNICEF, Ghana. The training
will commence in June 2001.
- LAWA-Ghana's
Project
with
the International
Women's Human Rights Clinic of Georgetown University Law Center
will continue in the Autumn Semester of 2001 with new projects being
undertaken by the partners.

Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE) - The second conference
of GAJE will take place in Durban, South Africa in December 2001.
