In a recent ARD Tagesthemen interview, Ignatz Bubis, chairman of the
Central Council of Jews in Germany, was asked whether compensation for
NAZI victims living in the Czech Republic today should be coupled to a
Czech- government willingness to compensate Sudeten Germans for their
losses after WWII.  Mr.  Bubis responded that he believed the Sudeten
Germans were also victims of the Nazi era.
