Submitted by: Marion Deshmukh I cannot speak for others on this list, but I for one have found the recent discussion on postmodernism of real interest. Given the number of recent publications (both books and articles) attempting to incorporate some of postmodernism's more salient features and the controversies surrounding its use, why not have a special session at the GSA next year with some of those who have contributed to the debate on H-German as well as others perhaps also. It is too late to have such a session (unless organized ad hoc) this year since the GSA program is about to be sent out. But there is time to organize one, along the lines of a panel, for next year. Any reactions to the idea? Marion Deshmukh George Mason University Fairfax, VA 22030 mdeshmuk@gmu.edu .
