The Dr. William M. Scholl Center
for Family & Community History
The Scholl Center at the Newberry Library is considering a third
reprinting of "Teaching the History of Immigration and Ethnicity:
A Syllabus Exchange," edited by Donna Gabaccia and James
Grossman. This project was cosponsored by the Scholl Center and
the Immigration History Society.
The 336-page volume includes an introduction by Gabaccia and
Grossman and 50 syllabi. The cost will be twenty-five dollars.
In order to ensure our ability to cover the costs of a reprint,
we need to know whether or not there remains significant interest
in the volume. If you are interested, please contact Adam
Stewart at stewarta@newberry.org, or call (312) 255-3524.
