Reflections and Revelations

Perspectives of Asian Women in the United States
on the Fourth World Women's Conference in Beijing

A slide presentation and panel discussion with:

Meizhu Lui

Meizhu Lui has worked for many years with women, mostly women of
color and immigrants, in hospital kitchens. She has been active
in the labor and women's movements and currently works at Health
Care for All, organizing Boston residents around
health issues.

Cheng Imm Tan

As Senior Associate Minister At-large of Unitarian Universalist
Urban Ministry, Cheng Imm Tan is a long time women's activist in
the Asian and refugee immigrant communities. Founder of the
Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence and current President
of APAAC, Rev. Tan has led women's workshops at the Third World
Women's Conference in Nairobi and the Fourth World Women's
Conference in Beijing.

Su Hyeon Kim

Su Hyeon Kim attended the NGO Forum in Beijing as a
representative for the Korean American Coalition on Jungshindae
(comfort women). She is a senior at Brandeis University majoring

in Sociology and co-chair of the task force on Action and
Implementation at Women and International Development.

This forum will look at women's global issues from an Asian
women's perspective and make connections to lay the foundation
for an Asian women's agenda in Massachusetts. ALL ARE
WELCOME!!!!!!
