[Devon Johnson <devonj@ucla.edu> writes:]

I have just finished my Master's thesis, titled "Reacting
to Crime: The Role of Prejudice in Whites' Punitive Attitudes."
I focus on the effects of Jim Crow and Laissez Faire Racism on
whites' attitudes towards the courts and the death penalty.
Generally I am interested in race relations in the U.S.,
the public perception of crime and violence (and especially the
role both the media and politicians play in this), and issues in
juvenile justice.
