I know that this is a naive question, but what is thought to
constitute an "aboriginal" people or culture, these days? Is
classification primarily an issue of "who was here first" or of
the form of culture/social organization? Does the inclusion of
Scots as a seperate category in this CFP imply that Europeans
cannot truly be aborigines, possibly because the term is
Eurocentric in origin, defining non-European others? Just
curious.
Thanks.
