SCOTS AND ABORIGINAL CULTURES

This is a call for submissions for an edited book on the subject
of "Scots and Aboriginal Cultures". We invite submissions on the
following themes:

Comparative studies of Scottish and Native American clan
systems
Native images of Scottish culture
Contact between Scots and Aboriginal peoples
Metis culture: Scottish and Indian influences
The role of women in Scots-Aboriginal interaction
Institutionalised racism: gender, race and class

Contributions should be 20-25 double-spaced pages in length
