I received your e-mail message of June 5. Many thanks for accepting me as a presenter at your conference. A filled-out registration form will be forthcoming once the Library Administration approves everything, but that shouldn't be any problem. But I would like to send on now the information that you requested in your message: Daniel K. Blewett Government Documents Librarian and Bibliographer for History and Political Science The Elizabeth M. Cudahy Library Lake Shore Campus Loyola University Chicago "Pearl Harbor on the Web" would be the title of my presentation. I think that I will try to present this using the Powerpoint program, so I would need a PC and an attached projector - I am wary about trying to do live demos with the Internet, as it can fail too often, usually right in the middle of our demo! Daniel K. Blewett graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1983 with masters degrees in history and library science. He worked as a reference librarian at Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge, and The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore before moving to Chicago. He is interested in military history, and has published "American Military History: A Guide to Reference and Information Sources" (Englewood, CO: Libraries Unlimited, 1995). His e-mail address is: DBLEWET@LUC.EDU. "This presentation will demostrate how the electronic version of the post-war Congressional hearings into the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor might be integrated into a classroom situation." I hope this helps. What will the housing situation be like for this conference? Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. Dan Blewett 773-508-2620
