We use the one connection to expose teachers and administrators to the
value of the WWW. If they don't know what is out there, and all they hear
about on the news is the negative side, they won't want it or support it.

I have a custom "home" screen for Netscape that has some of the best
educational sites just a click away, which makes it very easy for them to
browse when they have time.

We do one our "surfing" sessions for larger groups where they can see the
sites on a large screen TV as I take them on a tour of the web, stopping at
many interesting educational sites.

Classroom Connections has a book showing screenshots of 200 educational
sites. The book comes with a CD that contains all the files from those
sites so that you can simulate browsing the net without being connected.
Great for demonstrations at PTA meetings where you can't connect live but
want to show the parents what the www is all about.
