I'm a technology coordinator at North Shore Country Day School, a K-12
school just north of Chicago, and also president of a 500-member computer
teacher's organization . I will be travelling to South Africa this summer
and am interested in hooking up with any technology-using educators.
I have gone to the World Wide Web and have been blown away by the amount of
web sites and even schools already on line in South Africa. Rather than go
through these sites one by one, I'm wondering if any of you already have
contacts that are working in educational technology in that part of the
world. If you do, and you think they'd be interested in meeting with a
fellow "techie," I'd really appreciate it if you would send me a note at
