Building Demo WWW Sites Offline

Greetings.

I am trying to build demo sites for showing how the web works without
actually connecting to the net (one connection only, so if I can let students
access a "virtual Internet" then they get the feel of the place without
actually going there.)

To help in this process, I am interested in finding a program for the Mac
that would download an entire web page in one pass. For example, a page
contains several graphics as well as the html source code. I would like to
be able to click a button and have the program save the html code and all the
graphics without having to do these all one at a time. Even better would be
the ability to (optionally?) go download the code from sites that are
connected by links to the page I am viewing at the time.

Another use would be to download an entire site. Some sites have multiple
levels of pages and graphics and so forth, which each require individual
saving. Surely it must not be too hard to program something to go get the
entire site.

Anyone seen anything that fits the bill for this mythical, amazing utility?

Thanks in advance,
Dave
