Express Modem string

Can anyone tell me the best initialization string to use with the Apple
Express modem in my PPC 6116CD and ConfigPPP. The ones I have used
AT&F\N3&K3 and AT&F&D0&Q0 don't seem to give me compression.

The reason I ask is that with my LCIII and Zoom 14.4 modem Config would
give me a message reading CONNECT 54000 (which I was told was because of
compression). The Express Modem only gives CONNECT 14400 and the Control
Panel status says that error control and data compression are set at none.
