Network Internet access

We just got a grant to install a T1 line to our high school, with lines
from it to the elementaries, middle, and public library. Now I am in a
panic. What do we need on each machine to access the Internet? We have
a Novell network with IBM's, Windows. Is there a networked version of
Netscape and Winsock, or just what? I thought I had it all figured out,
and now I realize how little I know.
