Problem IBM Laserwriter 6

I have a laser printer IBM Lexmark 4290 that was purchased 2 years ago. It
has given me problems from day 1 and I was never successful getting it
fixed while it was in warranty. It is an intermittent problem. It will
work fine for awhile but then go back to giving a 930 service error.
Sometimes when you are turning it on it will not come up to speed and
sometimes even when it says that it is ready it will end up giving a 930
serivce error. Has anyone had a similar problem with this printer and do
you have any ideas on what the solution could be.

I have called all of the 800 numbers but now I would be charged
35.00 just for a tech call. If I thought they could give me the answer I
would give them the 35.00 but I figure if they couldn't help me when it was
under warranty they probably can't help me now.
I will appreciate any help.
