In my opinion, the 6100/DOS Compatible is the superior choice for
flexibility. That's what I have on my desk. I do have the 15-inch monitor
hooked up to it, but unless you're using the 832x624 resolution it's not a
particular advantage (the physical screen size is almost the same and the
640x480 resolution is essentially identical). One little catch with the
15-inch monitor and the 6100 is that if you do go to the 832x624 resolution
with the built-in video you can only get 256 colors. At 640x480 you get
Thousands.
