What platform? I have looked into ROBTEL and it is certainly
empressive...if you have the money...at roughly $500 per station, it was
out of my price range. I settled on Timbuktu which has some advantages and
disadvantages when compared to Robotel.
It's main advantage for me was that I could mount any student
computer/screen on mine over a TCP/IP network, meaning I could manage my
network from home after hours...change software, cleaning up disks, etc. At
roughly $30 per station (educational pricing) it was much more attractive.
I can still do much of what ROBOTEL can do in the lab include mass updates
of software.
I thank TIMBUKTU is available on both platforms...Windows and Mac.
