Purchase Advice for Computers for Special Education

I need to make a recommendation for the purchase of two Mac computers (or
possibly Windows) for two of our primary level special education
classrooms. Both teachers are more used to Macs and therefore, that
might be the preferred choice. I am considering any of these three: 580,
5300 and 6100 with Dos compatibility, all with 16MB of RAM. With prices
being fairly close which would be the better way to go?
The 6100 comes with a 14" monitor whereas the other two come with the
15". I also think that the 6100 comes with a smaller hard drive (500MB).
I am especially curious about the Dos compatibility on the 6100 since I
am more of a DOS/Windows person myself.
Thanks in advance.
