Need Help with Fax Software

I have a Mac 660 AV and in the past have successfully used Fax Terminal and
Fax Viewer with my Geoport connection. Recently both applications give me a
a message "The application 'unknown' has quit because a error of type 1 has
occurred" whenever I try to launch them.

I have reinstalled the software several times and have just recently
installed Apple's new Telecom 2.3.3 set of software but the same error
occurs. Any suggestions?
