Your request is more than interesting. I have taught computer networking
classes for years ina community college and in the last year at the
University of Arizona. My shocking discovery is that not even an MIS
graduate has the knowledge to do the things a teacher using technology
in the classroom needs to do.

My only suggestion is that you subscribe to some of the computer
industry journals like LAN times, LAN magazine etc and become some what
knowledgable so that you can ask you district staff and
vendors intelligent questions and understand their answers.
