Susan,
You can use either a Macintosh or Win95 platform to achieve your goals.
The choice of platform should be based upon your experience and support
capability both in your facility and from the local vendor. Shop these
issues and value, how can you best stretch your dollars. Be careful to
be thinking 3 year life cycle costs, include warranties and ease of
support in your calculations.

In the Macintosh area do not purchase anything with a 68xx processor
only a power MAC, the 68xx is end of an era technology.

In the Wintel (Windows Intel ) world purchase a Pentium computer with
PCI slots and at least 16 Megabytes or RAM, run Win95 as an OS.
