Last summer I bought a book that has been a strong introduction to
quicktime. It's called, amazingly, QuickTime, by Judith L Stern & and Rober
A. Lettieri and published by Hayden Books. Comes with a CD-ROM that
includes VideoShop 2.0.3 and a load of other good stuff. It isn't Premire,
but at the time it cost $45 and will do everything you want do. Hope this
