We are having problems with the HP 660c where they won't consistently show up
in the chooser- we have a combination of about 20 550c and 660c printers on a
LocalTalk network; the 550s always appear, yet the 660s come and go. We are
using the most recent software from HP, each printer is on a properly
terminated port of a Farallon Star controller. When we can connect they seem
to print OK. We are using At Ease on various Macs. On the machines we have
both the 550 and 660 drivers- the 660 driver printing to a 550 gives double
sized print; the 550 driving printing to a 660 gives lines of added text on
each page.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Suggestions?
