** Next, upgrade to System 7.5.3. If you are using a dial up phone line to
an ISP account, understand that you are sharing that line with perhaps 10
other people. A phone line with 10 people dragging data on it, gets about
550 cps. Also, if the WWW site you hit is very slow, the data transfer rate
is slow. SOOOO, next step two is to get a dedicated high speed Internet
access connection. We have a dedicated 56Kbps wireless connection to our
ISP and with 1-5 simultaneous connections we get about 5Kbps data transfer.
This drops off to unacceptable levels when we run 30 units at once.

No one ever said getting connected and using the WWW for classroom use
would be easy. or cheap. ***
