This isn't going to be your average request. I have a professor on campus who
is suffering from declining hearing. Each semester it's more and more
difficult for him to hear questions from his students and therefore the
educational process suffers. He's asked for my help in developing a solution
to this problem. He has had some success with a Williams Sound device that he
has used up to this point, but his hearing has deteriorated to a degree where
this device isn't working in a classroom. I'm familiar with equipment designed
to assist the hearing of the members of the class, but I've never seen anything
that is designed to work in the other direction. Any help or suggestions would
of course be greatly appreciated!
