In a Social Studies curriculum, computers can be used to do word
processing, spread sheets and presentations. They can also be used
to research different topics. There are games for geography.
Spreadsheets can be used with surveys.

For Math, there is an abundance of software for the different types
and levels of math. I have seen software that the students love no
matter how old and simple it is.
Look in computer catalogs for different types of software.
