Performa 6116CD

Earlier I sent the following query:

I have been using Eudora and NewsWatcher on an LCIII for awhile now and
have been really satisfied. I have been using a dialup, using MacTCP
(V2.0.4) and InterSLIP (V1.0.1), and a Zoom 14.4 Y.32bis modem. We just
recently purchased a 6116CD and I have transferred all my netware over and
have found a severe degradation in speed. I changed the modem init to the
one for the Express Modem Tool, but that is the only place I saw any place
to make changes. But the thing is a dog!! I didn't clock them, but The
LCIII's downloads were much faster than the 6116's. It simply crawled!
Have I missed something? I haven't seen it on the 5300 at school, but I
really don't get on with it much. Any help or suggestions? TIA

Unusually, I didn't get any replies. Did the question get through to
everyone? (I received a confirmation message and my own meessage in my
email) Or is it simply a question that no one has any suggestions to? I'd
appreciate any replies (especially with suggestions!)

TIA
