Normally if you are downloading a "beta" version, there is a time limit
because they are constantly upgrading the beta and don't want to have bad
versions out there. However, once the product goes to a "legitimate" version
number (such as 2.0), there should be no meltdown date, IF you have
registered the product with Netscape. In fact, part of the installation asks
if you want to continue with the online portion of the installation. This
takes you to Netscape and gives you a chance to register the product. Make
sure you register as an educator and/or personally. If you put a business
name on the registration form, you have a 90 day evaluation period. I have
no idea what happens after that date.

BTW. If you inadvertently registered as a business and want to reregister as
an individual, there is a procedure to do that.

You can't lose your bookmarks if you BACK THEM UP REGULARLY!!!!!!!

You could also back up your .ini file(s) if you are concerned about losing
settings. I would suggest that anyway.

Good luck!
