Our Internet contract has a provision against trying to hack into our system
software or other systems' on the Internet. It is my class policy, also.
Other teachers are considering making it part of their policy for
consistency and leverage with students who continue after a verbal warning.

We installed Novell last year and although we've had no major problems with
hacking there are some students who feel challenged to break in. I suppose
there always will be. Good luck.
