To Those Interested in Science and Environmental Education:

I wanted to let you know about a new magazine published over the
Web. My company, Voyage Publishing (Alexandria, VA), produces a
bi-monthly electronic magazine called "Science & the Environment"
(S&E), which brings science and enviro. news to the classroom.

For each issue, we review hundreds of international sources and
then select and summarize 80 of the most interesting and relevant
news stories. Each story's original source is referenced, and
most are accompanied by colorful graphics. Our goal: to link
high school and college textbook study to current, real-world
events through 8 comprehensive chapters. The chapters include:
Clean Air; Biodiversity & Wildlife; Clean Water; Marine Ecology;
Alternative Energy & Fuels; Climate Change & Atmospheric Studies;
Health, Population & Agriculture; Waste Management & Recycling.

We have recently been recognized by The McKinley Group as a
"Magellan 4 Star Site," their highest rating. Connell
Comm. also selected us as one of the top 500 Web sites on the
Internet; S&E tied Microsoft Corp. and the ERIC National
Clearinghouse for 5th place. You can find our Home Page and the
complete March/April issue at: http://www.voyagepub.com/publish,
or e-mail us at publish@voyagepub.com. Anne Crump, Mng. Editor
