Acceptable Use and blocking

I am gathering information on Internet use for a group of technology
coordinators in the St. Louis area. I would appreciate input from members
of Edtech on two topics.

1) Internet Resources for Acceptable Use Policies. Know any good
sites that you would be willing to share?

2) Do you use blocking or filtering software to control what your
students can access on the Internet? I'm not so much interested in the
controversy surrounding this method as I am in information and opinion
concerning specific software packages.
