Instructional Designer (Research Development Associate) for
Interactive CD-ROM (approximately 4 months, 4-5 days/week
(beginning March 15)

EDC, International is developing a CD-ROM to train lab
technicians in the Philippines to screen and test blood for HIV
and other infectious diseases. Under direction from the product
manager, Gilda Gussin, the designer will assume the following
responsibilities:

7 Review Content Materials
7 Write Content Script, a document that clearly and
non-technically defines content
7 Participate in Content Reviews with Subject Matter Experts
7 Write Text for text windows
7 Write test items and feedback
7 Create detailed flow charts showing program logic and flow
7 Write portion of design specification for Authorware/Director
Programmer

Experience Required:
7 Ability to understand medical/technical content
7 Ability to write clearly and think logically
7 Careful attention to detail
7 Ability to use software to create flow charts and storyboards
7 Ability to think visually
7 Experience designing instructional software and video preferred
7 Experience designing medical training products preferred
