Alas, I don't think you can get a palmcorder that runs standard VHS.
they run VHS-C and 8mm (or the hi band varieties of either). Good old
PanasonicAG-188s are fine VHS industrial machines. Any of the SONY 8mm are
good and
I guess Panasonic and JVC both have good VHS and SVHS-C devices. Do you
really need the small size of the palmcorder (they tend to let people make
much jumpier tapes)? If so, VHS and SVHS-C tapes can be played back on full
size VHS and SVHS machines if that helps.
