Maurizio-

In the House, the bill is HR3011, the Security and Freedom
Through Encryption (SAFE) Act. It was introduced by my
Congressman, Bob Goodlatte, from Roanoke, Virginia. His phone
number is 202-225-5431,and his e-mail address is
talk2bob@hr.house.gov.

In the Senate, the bill is S1587, the Encrypted Communications
Privacy Act of 1996. It was introduced by Senator Patrick
Leahy, from Vermont. His phone number is 202-224-4242, and his
e-mail address is senator_leahy@leahy.senate.gov.

Rep. Goodlatte is a solid Republican, and Sen. Leahy is a solid
Democrat. They have teamed up to offer this bipartisan effort.

But you don't need me for this info -- just go to

Hope this helps!
