Does anyone know about the AST Advantage one-piece multi-media computer on
page 12 of the recent (#H601) flyer from Surplus Software?
Surplus software tells me to call AST, AST says that I need a model number
before they can tell me anything.
Here's what I know:
486dx2/66
8 megs of ram
540 hard drive
quad speed cd rom
14,000 modem
16- bit sound card
What I would like to know:
ram expansion - how many simm slots does the machine have
can/will the bios support a larger hard drive (1.2 gigs)
does the machine have room for a second hard drive inside
what kind and how many expansion slots are there
can the modem be shut off to install a 28.8 version
