I am interested in pursuing a doctoral program at Nova University also.
At present, it seems that a Ph.D. in Computing Technology in Education or
the Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and Distance Education are my
leading contenders. I am also wondering if this degree will assist me in
future endeavors. It is a lot of time and money to put into something,
and it would be nice if it had a fair chance of returning a positive
career result.

At present I am teaching as an adjunct professor The County College of
Morris, a community college in New Jersey. I teach various computer
science subjects, and have worked there as an adjunct for about three
years. I teach live classes, as well as classes over the Interactive TV
network in Morris County. My life is rather hectic, and I would like to
pursue a doctoral program but cannot commit to being physically in the
same place every Monday night between 7 and 10 pm. It seemed a distance
learning doctoral program might be the answer.

I would dearly love to hear from any of you who have comments about the
program at Nova, or might suggest another university with higher
"status", if that is the problem.
